EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Okay, I feel beter now... (EEEEE!!)

I don't know if this is left over concert High, or If this is the Two double expresso shots I downed before going to said concert. It could be both, but anyway:

I just got back frome the White Stripes Show at the Orphium. Now for your Recap if you couldn't make it.

Julius and I headed out to boston, We met an old friend of his, I will call her Innad. She is the person he found to take Sombrengel's ticket. We met her, and sat down. We waited on the edge of our seats for 8:00 to come, there were no openers listed, so we thought we were going to get our Stripes straight...

At 8:00 the first opener started. Two guys, one on drums, the other on gutiar, kinda elvis bluesy, but good actually overall. They leave.

Cue the worlds most inept stage crew. With all the house lights up, The entire audince watched as they took down the other band's drumset, put out another, tested the drums (which did not have the pepermint swirl on them), brought out a baby blue gutiar, and then spent twenty minutes displaying just how useless they really were. Aparently there was some sort of whit screen that was soposed to be set up as a backdrop. Why this wasn't put there before the first band playd is beyond me, they didn't have any special lights at all. Either way, How many Stage Crew members does it take to put up a projection screen? If you were at any highschool, the awnser would beabout 5. If you work at the Orphium, the awnser is: as many as you have. I cannot express to you how painstaking it was to watch them do this, but finally it was up, they ran a few really old betty boop cartoons, and turned the lights down. The crowd cheerd, and the lights when up on Whirwind heat. Whirlwind Heat was horrible. They got their true Boston Welcome for it as well. Between each song there were at least three "GO HOME" 's and one person actually said "I"m going to shoot you". They left. We watched more cartoons, Meg's Drumset was set up, and Jacks gutiar was brought out. They came out, the crowd went insane. They played, it was beautiful. I've heard some of the other shows that they've done, and to be perfectly blunt, sometimes they blow Five week old Monkey testicles, other times their good. Tonight, they were phenominal. Meg sang her song, Jack only really spazed out once, but even that turned out okay. And they played my favorite song. Not only did they play it, but Jack got all happy and started Jumping up and down, and said get ready for Hotel Yorba!! he didn't do that for anyother song.

I think that they were genually suprised that we wanted an encore so badly. The audince went insane, and we clapped for a good five minutes to get them back out. They came out, played 7 nation army, and then Jack looked out at the audience and said "we love you boston" and he just looked so happy. They sang bowlweevel (which isn't actually recorded on any album), and at one point he did that thing where he let the audience sing for him. We did, and it was great, I had such a great time. unbeleavible.
